The Royal Jubilee Hospital Gift Shop is operated by members of the Royal Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary. The purpose of the shop is to provide services for patients, families, visitors, and staff and to fund hospital equipment. Services include stocking easily affordable gifts and sundries for sale, as well as providing a welcoming place to shop and browse. All profits are donated back to the hospital for the purchase of equipment and other needs, as deemed suitable by the hospital. Over the long years of operation, the Auxiliary has raised millions of dollars for the hospital, primarily used for purchase of costly equipment which might otherwise be inaccessible. Inventory in our shop includes a wide range of home decor items, books, magazines, greeting cards, informal clothing, costume jewelry, sundries, games, candy, Rogers Chocolates, and silk flowers. Staffers will be happy to help you with a telephone order and there is no cost for delivery (with a smile and friendly word) within the hospital. Payment is by credit card. The main shop is located in the Patient Care Centre. SHOP HOURS Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday 12 noon - 4:00 pm Closed some holidays Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Debit cards accepted The Royal Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing services and funding for RJH in Victoria, British Columbia. Most members work a few hours per week in one of the gift shops. Others are members of the active and hard-working Craft group. And some members make their contribution as associates, providing support for our efforts. New members are warmly welcomed. If you would like a rewarding volunteer position working in the shop for a few hours a week, please contact us for more information. We are a registered charity. While the gift shop is our primary fund raiser, we also welcome bequests and donations. Charitable gift tax receipts will be issued.
